Okay, so I was browsing DemonEyes3's gallery and I ran into this badass drawing of a human dude and a vampire girl who are just drenched in blood [link] . so instantly I felt the need to do a fanart of Maurice the human dude. :]

anyways, the original drawing of Maurice is so badass that I wanted it to be somewhere in my picture too. ^^ so you can see the original drawing and my fanart version.

Oh wow! I am at a loss for words. He looks great! I love how you did his hair and the evil glare ^^ You picked very nice blue tones.

The blood stains look so good on him in this picture.

glad you like it. I stuck to the pose you gave him in your pic, just showed it from a different angle. oh, and I put his hand in his pocket for an added feeling of "I just killed Someone but I don't care." :]

^^ I have to admit, I was having difficulty with the belts since horizontal lines are still bloody hard to do with a tablet so I decided to leave them out. ^^; but overall, the character is still there. :]

haha, yeah, that hair... took so long to finish. ^^
but I'm starting to get comfortable with the style that I draw the hair in. ...so many years of trying different things... it almost feels like I'm about to find my groove.

dude knows how to take care of it. Unlike my dirty self, ah, dandruff... will I ever make you dissapear?

hm, you know, I could email the brush set to you if you want, since I'm too lazy to look them up again. ^^
I think they work with Photoshop as well as Gimp, so they should work for you.

Its ok. Little differences are always the best. And horizontal lines are a pain to do with a tablet, thats why most of the time I rotate the pic. to do it. But in traditional art I don't have to worry about it. :w00t!:

I sent them but I got a funky progress bar afterwards, Dunno what that was all about, but let me know if you got them. otherwise I'll try it with yahoo mail next time.
